Lazem Hassan Faraji, A Kurdish political prisoner from Bukan, Rojhelat (Kurdistan under Iran rule)has spent his life behind the bars for more than five years under the charge of connection with Kurdish political parties. He has been banned from having any lawyer during these years, and he has experienced torture for months. However, he has received a new verdict while he was in prison. He has been given death sentence and execution charge for the same charge initially persecuted for. The Iranian government has intensified oppression and pressure on Kurdish population in general and activists and political prisoners in particular to quell any possible uprising.
